Ex-easyJet non-exec director takes role at Silverjet
Silverjet has appointed Amir Eilon as non-executive director.
He was previously a non-executive director at easyJet from 1998 to 2006, where he played a key role in the airline’s acquisition of Go and the securing of an option to acquire Deutsche BA.
Eilon also currently holds the same position at MK Airlines, a cargo airline.
Silverjet chief executive Lawrence Hunt said: “Amir has a wealth of experience in the aviation and in particular low cost airline sector, and his experience of low cost airlines will be very valuable to us.
“In addition, Amir’s investment banking and strong finance background will be a great asset to the business.”
