Couples can choose to get married on the dramatic outdoor terrace overlooking a waterfall and the ocean or inside a new glass and sandstone atrium attached to the main architect-designed lodge, complete with marble floors, wrought-iron staircase and two huge cedar doors.
A lure for couples are Tumbling Waters’ panoramic, candlelit dining room seating up to 50 guests, the outdoor terrace which can accommodate 80 cocktail guests, gourmet cuisine, hi-tech sound system, dance floor, lush garden, a beautiful wet-edge ornamental pool perfect for photography, a deluxe spa sanctuary, a horizon, cliff-edge swimming pool and elegantly appointed suites overlooking the sea.
Tourism Wollongong General Manager Greg Binskin said the $4 million award-winning retreat had featured on numerous TV travel programs and was an ideal wedding venue in a romantic bush setting less than one-hour south of Sydney and only 45 minutes from Sydney Airport.
