Fearing election protests, United moving crews from downtown hotels
United Airlines is taking no chances. It acknowledges ‘a possibility of renewed protest activity’ and will move crews from city hotels to airport properties.
The airline did the same amid the George Floyd protests nationwide earlier this year. It said crews with layovers in Seattle, Denver, Chicago, Philadelphia, Atlanta and Portland could be impacted.
