First Choice moves into Waterstone’s and Morrisons
First Choice is expanding its retail presence with outlets in Waterstone’s shops and Morrisons supermarkets.
These will be in addition to units in Adsa and Sainbury’s stores.
The company is to open a travel pod in Waterstone’s in Birmingham New Street and three in Morrisons stores in Wellington, Newark and Norwich next month.
Two agency branches will open in Morrisons shops in Felixstowe next month and Liverpool Speke by July plus foreign exchange bureaux at Guiseley and Stoke.
The pods are brochure-free units which are easily portable.
First Choice retail managing director Cheryl Powell said: “We have recently opened 41 shop equivalents and will opena further 14 shops by April. In addition to our new shops we have added 56 First Choice Partner ‘franchise’ shops to our estate – this new partnership is another example of how we can broaden the retail network even further.”
