Five die in Albuquerque hot air balloon crash
Five people have died in a hot air balloon sightseeing crash. It happened after the hot air balloon hit power lines in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The crash happened shortly after take-off and came down in the middle of a busy road, catching on fire, the FAA said.
It knocked out power to more than 13,000 homes, Albuquerque PD spokesman Gilbert Gallegos said. It fell about 100 feet after striking the power lines. The FAA and National Transportation Safety Board are investigating.
