Galileo says it has a first

Saturday, 07 Dec, 2004 0

Galileo International announced deployment in the US and Canada of Galileo Cruise.

The company says its Web-based cruise booking tool provides all functionality and technology necessary for agents to “seamlessly” manage cruise shopping and booking from agent’s desktops.

Said Eileen Kennedy, vice president of marketing:

“Galileo Cruise is the industry’s leading cruise booking tool and we’re pleased to be the first GDS to deliver a powerful, market-ready technology to our customers.”

Ms Kennedy says Galileo is the first and only GDS to offer such a state-of-the-art system.

In addition to offering cruise booking in one place, she said, the system has a vast variety of other information needed by cruise bookers.
