Guaranteed online rates

Choice Hotels International Inc. announced the extension of its Best Choice e-Rate Guarantee to all properties within its worldwide system. That includes 4,700 properties in 42 nations. Previously, the Best Choice e-Rate that was launched last March applied only to US and Caribbean hotels. Choice Hotels include Comfort Suites, Quality, sleep Inn, Clarion, Econo Lodge, Roadway Inn or MainStay Suites. To enact the guarantee, travelers must have a confirmed reservation for a room any Choice property, then (prior to a booking) shop for a better rate on alternative 3rd party travel web sites that identify the hotel and room rate. Travelers finding a lower online rate then submit a claim form found online at Choicehotels.com. Once the lower rate is verified, Choice Hotels will adjust the rate and take off an additional 10%.
