HA adds flights

Saturday, 22 Jun, 2004 0

Hawaiian Airlines (HA) is adding new routes and increasing its inter-island service.

HA, which recently started non-stop flights from Sydney to Honolulu, is increasing its Boeing 717 services from Honolulu to Maui, and to Hilo, on the Big Island, starting 1 August.

HA at that time will also start code-share services with Island Air, which operates high-frequency flights to smaller airports on the islands of Molokai and Lanai, and to the Maui resort of Kapalua.

“Our inter-island capacity will increase by a massive 184,000 seats, or 17%, during this northern hemisphere summer, said Hawaiian’s sales and marketing manager Australia Scott Cammell.
