Hawaiian Airlines returning to Australia
Hawaiian Airlines will resume its five-time weekly service to Sydney from Honolulu in December. It halted the service at the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020.
Hawaiian will restart Sydney flights on Tuesdays and Thursday through Sunday starting December 15.
"We are thrilled to reconnect Hawaii and Australia and have been encouraged by the public’s response to Australia’s national vaccination program," Andrew Stanbury, regional director for Australia and New Zealand at Hawaiian Airlines, said.
Only Australian citizens and permanent residents are permitted to enter Australia, likely until early-2022, although Aussies will be able to travel overseas.
