Holiday Direct gains Dolphin web-based selling tool

Dolphin Dynamics is to provide systems to growing independent agency group Holiday Direct Travel Group.

The Southampton-based organisation, which is close to having 400 members, is taking the technology company’s TravelScanner point of sale system and Travel Manager centralised accounting and data management service.

TravelScanner will allow the group to provide its agents and home workers with a web-based selling platform, allowing them to book flights, accommodation, insurance and car hire.

Holiday Direct managing director Cary Lam said: “We are continually striving to improve relationships with our member agents and improve the service we are able to offer them.

“Implementing TravelScanner and Travel Manager will help streamline the administration side of our business, freeing up both time and resources for head office and its member agents.”
