Holland America unwraps Asia Pacific programme
SYDNEY – Holland America’s ms Volendam will become a familiar face in Australian waters during 2009/2010 as the cruise line expands its itineraries to the Pacific region.
Departing Singapore on November 21 the Volendam will sail Australia’s east coast in early December and host a variety of Australia/New Zealand sailings through to April 2010.
Such is the demand Holland America Line has already announced plans for ms Volendam’s early 2011 cruising of Australia and New Zealand with 14- and 18-day voyages to include the Great Barrier Reef and Asian ports.
The ship also will sail a 14-day exploration of the South Pacific, plus 17- and 18-day voyages throughout the Far East, before taking a trans-Pacific journey that will cross the International Date Line on the way back to North America.
