Holland going north to Alaska

Sunday, 11 Aug, 2005 0

In its latest offerings, Holland America Line Cruise Tours is adding more Alaska and Yukon trips.

With 29 cruise tours, the line says it has more geographically diverse cruise tours than any other operator.

“Our cruise tours and optional excursions feature visits to 11 national parks  —  more than any other tour company,” said Richard D. Meadows, senior vice president, marketing and sales.

Most cruise tours include Denali National Park and travel aboard the McKinley Explorer luxury dome railroad.

Trips range from 10 to 15 days. The Glacier Discovery Cruise Tours can be as long as 20 days.

Seven-day cruises start at prices as low as $849.
