Hong Kong Airlines is dropping flights between Hong Kong and Gatwick from September 10.
The all-business class airline is abandoning the service after just six months in operation.
It launched the daily all Club Class service on March 8 and appointed Gerard Clarke as general manager UK.
The airline released a statement blaming the "continuing weak economic outlook in Europe, combined with the strength of the regional business within Asia".
"We believe that a regional model focused on Asia Pacific is most appropriate for Hong Kong Airlines at this stage of our growth," said president Yang Jian Hong.
