Hotel Nikko brand returns to Bali
Hotel Nikko makes a return to Bali this month after a near-two year hiatus.
Japan based Okura Nikko Hotel Management, subsidiary of Hotel Okura Co., Ltd, announced the new Hotel Nikko Bali Benoa Beach is officially open for business on March 8, 2018.
It marks a welcome return to Bali for the Nikko Hotels brand after the closure of its previous resort in nearby Nusa Dua.
Steps away from the Tanjung Benoa beachfront, Hotel Nikko Bali Benoa Beach features 188 contemporary Balinese style guest rooms, multiple bars and restaurants, a lagoon swimming pool, and spa.
Yhe Tanjung Benoa area is home to exclusive resorts and villas, and is noted as Bali’s premier water sports haven.
Jean-Charles Le Coz has been appointed as general manager and said: "We are happy to bring back the Nikko experience in Bali. We aim to bring a harmonious blend of Japanese traditions and Balinese warmth under the brand and create a unique concept for all of our guests and business partners."
The opening of Hotel Nikko Bali Benoa Beach marks the next phase in Hotel Okura Co., Ltd.’s goal to expand its global portfolio to 100 properties, mostly in Asia.
Bali welcomed more than four million tourist arrivals in the first eight months of 2017 and overall, Indonesia is targeting at least 20 million foreign tourists by the beginning of 2020.
