Hogg Robinson has appointed James Stevenson as global sales director.
Most recently the TMC’s vice president AsPac, he was previously the original general manager of HRG’s joint venture in China, HRG Jin Jiang China, which was the first foreign majority-owned joint venture TMC in the country.
In his early career he worked on the operational side of the business before moving into the sales area where he led and managed HRG’s account management teams across the Nordic countries, France and Italy.
Reporting to commercial director Stewart Harvey, in his new role he will take overall responsibility for all worldwide sales activity.
Harvey said: “James’ appointment is a part of our declared statement to grow our new business activities.
“James has considerable experience and knowledge of a variety of commercial and geographic markets and has a proven track record in global client development and retention.”
