Hyatt appoint new UK sales director

Hyatt Hotels and Resorts has appointed Andrew Ashmore as its UK and Ireland area director of sales.

He joins from Beijing’s China World Hotel where he was director of marketing.

Ashmore, who will be based at Hyatt’s sales and marketing office in Richmond and will spearhead a seven-strong team, has previously held several positions within the group including director of marketing for all its Indonesian properties.
