IndiGo to start direct Central Asia flights
India’s biggest airline IndiGo has got the go-head to expand to the ‘Stans.
Indian regulator DGCA approved the start of operations for its new route to Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
Tashkent flights begin next month.
The airline recently announced plans to launch Tashkent flights and a second route to the region, to Almaty in Kazakhstan.
Almaty flights will also launch next month.
The two new routes bring IndiGo’s international network to 32 overseas destinations.
