Jet2.com marked a major milestone as it carried its 100 millionth customer.

Kerry Williams from Failsworth, Manchester travelled from Manchester Airport to Fuerteventura on Wednesday

To mark the occasion, she was surprised at check-in and gifted five pairs of free Jet2.com flights.

“I am over the moon to be Jet2.com’s 100 millionth customer. It was a fantastic surprise,” she said

Since its first flight from Leeds Bradford Airport to Amsterdam in February 2003, Jet2.com has experienced substantial growth.

The company now operates to 68 sun, city and ski destinations across Europe, the Mediterranean and Canary Islands from ten UK bases.

The programme now on sale with Jet2 comprises over 430 routes, with Alicante  the most popular destination followed by Malaga, and Tenerife.
