Jill Martin quits Gold Medal

Gold Medal Travel Group general manager of sales Jill Martin has left the company in the wake of a shake up at the operator.

A statement said sales functions and continuing trade strategy would be managed by the company’s board following a re-organisation at its Preston headquarters.

Group director Nigel Fell has assumed responsibility for the operator’s sales team.

Martin’s departure follows that of former boss Wayne Pearce.
