Football legend Kenny Dalglish will ‘host’ guests on Silversea’s new Middle Eastern voyage aboard Silver Wind in January.
Dalglish will give talks about his career as well as joining guests for dinner.
Formerly a Scottish International footballer, Dalglish went on to play for and manage Liverpool Football Club from 1977-1991.
His time at Liverpool was one of the most successful periods in the club’s history as he helped the team to win seven league titles, three European Cups and two FA Cups.
Silver Wind’s seven-day round-trip from Dubai on January 3 will visit Abu Dhabi, Khasab, Muscat and Bahrain.
All-inclusive fares start from £2,898 per person based on two people sharing a Vista suite, with free flights and transfers which are currently available from certain gateways.
Other notable guests on selected Silversea sailings include newsreader and broadcaster Michael Buerk, former Dorchester head chef Anton Mosimann and the first American woman to walk in space, Astronaut and Scientist Dr Kathryn Sullivan.
