Kids Cruise for Free - TravelMole

Kids Cruise for Free

Thursday, 11 Apr, 2007 0

Family holidays have never been better value – or easier to organise – with P&O Cruises now offering Kids Cruise Free deals out of Brisbane.

The deals apply to selected Pacific Star sailings during September and October 2007, as well as four Pacific Sun cruises from Brisbane in January 2008 and include school holiday departures.

Kids aged 12 years and under** will cruise free on a seven-night Pacific Star holiday departing October 6 to tropical north Queensland with adult fares starting from $1395 per person in an inside cabin*, or on a September 29 sailing for seven nights to New Caledonia, the Loyalty Islands and Vanuatu with fares starting from $1589 per adult*.

This special offer is also available on four Pacific Sun departures in the January school holidays, with adult fares for seven-night cruises to the South Pacific or tropical north Queensland starting from $1524 per person*.

Under the deal, children 12 years and under will have accommodation, main meals and entry to kids clubs provided free of charge when travelling in a cabin with two adults.

Family cruising with P&O Cruises is exceptionally popular and thousands of families enjoy holidays on the company’s ships each year. Families account for 26 per cent of P&O Cruises’ passengers and repeat bookings for families are also very high.

In fact, Holidays with Kids Magazine’s 2006 reader’s poll recently named P&O cruises Australia the best “child-friendly and all-round best family cruise operator”.

Cruising offers a perfect family getaway – children are busy with their own programs and entertainment while parents spend time together soaking up the sun on deck, enjoying one of the many activities on offer or just unwinding.

Younger children, older kids and teenagers all have their own clubs supervised by professional child and youth co-ordinators who run activities designed to keep kids busy and active all day long and into the night. Babysitting services are also available for younger children in the evening.

The 1350-passenger Pacific Star features three supervised kids clubs, while the 1900-passenger Pacific Sun provides endless fun and games with a huge 35-metre waterslide and three kids clubs guaranteeing entertainment for all ages.

** Children must be 12 years or under and travelling with two adults in a cabin. Maximum of two children per cabin. Offer valid until 30 June 2007.
