Luton Airport strike suspended
A planned week long strike by baggage handlers and check-in staff at Luton Airport has been suspended.
The strike, by workers employed by GH London Ground Handling Services and dealing with Wizz Air flights, was due to start today.
A Unite spokesperson said: "Following productive talks held today, Unite has agreed to suspend the strike action which was due to commence on Sunday (3rd March).
"The workforce will vote on the improved pay offer in the coming days."~
