Malaysia introducing visa-free travel for Chinses, Indian travellers
Bidding to boost inbound tourism, Malaysia will give two of its top source markets visa-free travel.
It will drop entry visa requirements for travelers from China and India from 1 December.
It is a reciprocal move for China citizens just days after China announced visa-free travel for Malaysians.
Chinese and Indian citizens will be able to stay in Malaysia for up to 30 days, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said.
“Next year, Malaysia will be celebrating 50 years of diplomatic ties with China,” the PM said.
Malaysia already allows visa free travel for nationals of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, UAE, Iran, Turkey and Jordan.
China and India are both in the top five source markets for travel to Malaysia.
