Marriott debuts in Khao Lak, Thailand
Marriott International has opened new Thai resort Khao Lak Marriott Beach Resort & Spa, marking its debut in Khao Lak.
Khao Lak Marriott Beach Resort & Spa is just steps from Bang-Lut Beach and offers easy access to a number of offshore islands, rainforest and waterfalls.
Phuket International Airport is a 90 minutes’ drive away.
“We are delighted to bring Marriott Hotels to Khao Lak, creating a new option for families, couples and groups of friends or colleagues, complementing our portfolio of Marriott Bonvoy resorts in Khao Lak,” said Brad Edman, Market VP Thailand, Cambodia & Myanmar.
Khao Lak Marriott Beach Resort & Spa is a low-rise retreat with a modern design concept based on the local coastal heritage and sea-faring.
The Greatroom is Marriott Hotels’ take on the traditional lobby space.
It serves as a collective hub with a bar.
The Thai resort houses 283 rooms, suites and villas, ranging from 50 to 124 square metres in size equipped with private balconies.
Many on the ground floor offer direct access to the resort’s lagoon pools.
There are seven restaurants and bars, a water playground and kid’s club, beachfront activities including yoga and more.
The signature Quan Spa awaits offers six treatment rooms and the fitness centre is open 24/7.
Catering to leisure and business travellers alike, the Thai resort features the Andaman Grand Ballroom and five versatile meeting rooms, as well as outdoor event space including on the beach.
Khao Lak Marriott Beach Resort & Spa participates in the Marriott Bonvoy travel program from Marriott International allowing members to earn points for their stay at the new hotel, and at other hotels and resorts across Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio
