Mexico added to CDC’s ‘very high’ risk list

The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention moved Mexico into the ‘very high’ risk Level 4, advising Americans not to travel there.
The CDC advises travelers to avoid travel to Level 4 countries. Mexico had been at the less severe ‘Level 3’ rating since last summer. Mexico posted a record-high number of new Covid cases this month.
It was one of a dozen countries added to Level 4, including Singapore, the Philippines, Anguilla, Brazil and Chile.
