Mexico Boutiques add a dozen more

Mexico Boutique Hotels added a dozen new outlets in six cities throughout the Mexican Republic.

The small chain now has a collection of 45 properties, each with its own individual character, said director general John Youden.

“We aim to select members in destinations that showcase Mexico’s dynamic offerings, while providing upscale boutique accommodations infused with local culture and flavor,” he said.

The new destinations are Playa del Carmen, Campeche, Mineral de Pozos, Valle de Bravo, Monte Gordo and Colima.

The Colima property, Hacienda de San Antonio, has views of a nearby volcano in a garden setting. The hotel is the former home of a well-known financier.
