Norwegian Cruise Line is expanding ground transportation services across the Mid-Atlantic and New England from May, offering more departure points and more convenient timings for transfers to Manhattan Cruise Terminal.

From May 3, cruisers on the Norwegian Breakaway and Norwegian Gem will be able to arrange pick-ups from 11 New England cities in all, including New Haven CT; Bridgeport CT; Worcester, MA; and Salem NH.

Later, from May 31, new motor coach services direct to the ships will be offered from Arlington, VA; Baltimore, MD; Wilmington, DE; Philadelphia, PA; and East Brunswick, NJ.

The services will be operated on behalf of NCL by new partner Academy Bus and are in addition to the existing ground transportation schedules provided by Yankee Trails World Travel.

Timings on some existing routes have been readjusted, to offer more convenient departure and return times.

Buses will now leave 1-2 hours later from pick-up cities, reducing the waiting time at port.

NCL are offering transfers at $110 roundtrip on all routes.

Norwegian Breakaway is sailing seven-day Bermuda cruises from the Big Apple until September while Norwegian Gem offers seven-day voyages to the Bahamas and Florida.
