New chief information officer for TUI Group
Mittu Sridhara has stepped down as group chief information officer for the TUI Group.
He will leave at the end of this month and will be replaced by Chris Bayley who has been appointed new Group CIO.
Bayley joined TUI UK and Ireland in October 2009 as director of IT strategy and planning, moving up to be IT Director in October 2010.
In July 2011 he took on the additional role of Phoenix programme director and became a member of the UK and Ireland board in November 2011. Ԭ
"I have been particularly impressed at how Chris has led his team to deliver the Phoenix project, building large technology change across all aspects of the selling systems, tour operator systems and the introduction of customer system capabilities," said TUI Group Executive Board member Sebastian Ebel.
"I am confident that Chris and his team will successfully drive forward our digital agenda, implementing common IT platforms across the TUI Group."
