New head of holidays for lastminute.com

Julia Morris has joined lastminute.com as its new head of holidays from Flight Centre where she was product director.

She succeeds Matt Cheevers who left to join Teletext last December.

Morris will be responsible for the development of the online firm’s holiday products across all its UK websites. She reports to travel director John Bevan.

Prior to joining Flight Centre, Morris was head of travel UK and Ireland for RCI Europe/Cendant. She started her travel career at Trailfinders in 1992.

Bevan said: “Her skills, experience and leadership will be an invaluable asset as we develop take our already industry-leading travel team to the next level.”
