A boutique hotel is to be built on the former site of a Brighton ice rink after an alternative plan for 31 flats to be built on the spot was rejected by the local council.
Work will begin on clearing the site this summer, with developers hoping the 56-bed hotel will open at the end of next year.
It will be a sister project to The Light in Manchester.
