New properties to boost Mantra in Queensland
Mantra Resorts has announced a major boost to its portfolio of hotels, resorts and apartments in Queensland with the addition of three former S8 properties on the Gold and Sunshine Coasts, with the move following the recent acquisition of S8 by Mantra’s parent company, Stella Hospitality Group.
Mooloolaba properties, Zanzibar Resort Apartments and Sirocco Resort Apartments have been re-branded to Mantra Zanzibar and Mantra Sirocco while the former Phoenician Resort Apartments at Broadbeach, is now the Mantra Phoenician.
The acquisitions increase Mantra’s presence on the Gold Coast to five properties while the Mooloolaba re-brandings bring the Sunshine Coast total to four.
Mantra Resorts Group General Manager Mark Hodge said the properties would confirm Mantra’s standing in Queensland as the leading provider of four- to four and a half star leisure accommodation.
“These landmark properties are renowned for their quality, position and service,” Mr Hodge said. “The accommodation markets on the Gold and Sunshine Coasts are enjoying a major revival and properties such as these are leading the way.”
