Nominations close soon for British Travel Awards

Tuesday, 20 May, 2016 0

Nominations close on May 31 for the 2016 British Travel Awards and organisers are urging companies not to leave it too late.

"There is usually a last minute influx of registrations but there are also always some companies that moan they’ve missed out – because they left it too late, or thought someone else was doing it!" said BTA CEO Lorraine Barnes Burton.

"The ultimate aim is to receive the award as voted for by the consumer but even to be listed on that nomination form is incredible exposure for any brand."

More than 500 award nominations have already been registered in the 82 award categories.

This year, 34 of the awards are graded by size, allowing even the smallest specialist, niche enterprises to be recognised by their customers.

Consumer voting in the 2016 British Travel Awards will start on July 4 and run until September 30.

The 2016 BTA Winners will be announced at a Gala Dinner in London Wednesday November 23 2016.

Lobbying tips and tools, including a direct ‘Vote For Us’ button link to a company’s listing on the BTA voting form, are provided to encourage loyal customers to vote for their favourite travel companies.
