Norwegian Joy to undergo extensive refurbishment

Norwegian Cruise Line will put the Norwegian Joy through a dry dock refurbishment in early 2024.
The ship will undergo enhancements in January 2024 including a new Thermal Suite in the Mandara Spa and Salon, an expanded Vibe Beach Club, and 64 new staterooms.
The Haven Premier Owner’s Suites will also be redesigned.
The upgrades will include repurposing a portion of the Observation Lounge to create 24 new balcony staterooms, as well as 40 new spa balcony staterooms.
In addition, the exclusive adults-only Vibe Beach Club will be expanded, taking over the existing Laser Tag arena on Deck 20, with new private luxe cabanas.
“With this revitalization we are adding some of the most beloved spaces and offerings across our ships,” said president David J. Herrera.
Norwegian Joy will undergo refurbishments between 22 January 2024 to 12 February 2024.
Norwegian Joy will then resume sailings on 13 February, on an 11-day transatlantic cruise from Southampton to Miami.
In March 2024, the ship will cruise seven-day round-trip Caribbean voyages from Miami.
