Norwegian tripled passenger traffic in 2022

Norwegian passenger traffic exceeded 1.3 million passengers in December.

The airline says domestic Christmas passenger traffic was at pre Covid levels.

It represents an increase of 41% compared to December 2021.

During 2022 Norwegian handled 18 million passengers.

This is triple the number of passengers from the previous year.

December load factor was 77.8%.

“We are delighted to see that an increasing number of passengers choose Norwegian,” said CEO Geir Karlsen.

More than nine out of ten flights arrived on time or within one hour.
