One of a new breed of tour operator combines inbound and outbound by train and bus from Russia, China and Europe with historic Silk Road.
Recently launched tours include:
- Discovering Iran (Tehran, Mashad, Kashan, Isfahan, Persepolis & Shiraz)

There is even Silk Road Experience for young travellers
Following the steps of Marco Polo from Venice and using trains and buses only, just to enjoy the pleasure of travelling and meeting local people.
The trip goes from Venice to Samarkand with stops in Belgrade (Serbia), Istanbul-Ankara (Turkey), Tehran & Mashad (Iran), Mary (Turkmenistan), Bukhara and Samarqand. More adventurous passengers will have the possibility to continue the trip to Tajikistan, Kirghizstan and China.
Profits of this trip will be donated to the Aga Khan Foundation for Wakhan Projects or to Municipality of Bamyan (Afghanistan) to help them to complete a school.
As part of the promotional efforts, the operator – VIP Tours of San Marino – has linked with Veniz al-Bunduqiya Cultural Association to launch a "Orient Experience" and the gastronomic tradition linked to it as a form of creative and artistic enterprise in Venice.
VIP is also pioneering tours from Russia by train, partnering with RZD railways who are now running trains from Moscow to Berlin, Paris and Nice
