Paris and Amsterdam for a song
For anyone who thinks fuel prices, the credit crunch and rising mortgage costs are going to ruin their travel plans, think again. You may be watching your spending closely, but there is no need to abandon your plans to have fun travelling.
There is still a way to travel to Europe without spending a fortune. International scheduled coach operator Eurolines, part of National Express, has introduced FUN FARES to Paris and Amsterdam at just £15.
One way to make the most of a continental break is to travel on an overnight service, saving on the costs of a hotel for a night at each end of a break but still with the same number of days to relax and explore.
Eurolines has up to six services a day to Paris and four each day to Amsterdam. Its Eurolines PLUS services on these routes offer additional customer comforts including extra leg-room so you can spread out and relax.
For anyone looking to reduce their carbon footprint, travelling by coach is certainly environmentally friendly at around six times less a flight to either city.
Eurolines has no additional supplements, taxes or surcharges, so what you see is what you pay. Its advertised fares include a £3 booking fee. So a single journey starts from £15.
