Park Plaza adds Dublin hotel

Friday, 24 May, 2006 0

Park Plaza Hotels Europe is to open a property in Dublin as its second hotel in island of Ireland.

The 155-room hotel in the Tyrrelstown district of the Irish capital is due to open in August, creating more than 120 jobs.

The four-star property will open as part of Carlson Hotels Worldwide’s Park Plaza Hotels & Resorts network. Park Plaza is master franchisor of Carlson Hotels Worldwide for the brand in 55 countries in the region.

The latest hotel comes as a result of a franchise agreement with Irish hotel management company Hotel Partners, which manages the Park Plaza in Belfast and three other hotels in Ireland, with a fourth to open in July, the Trim Castle Hotel.
