The FAA is investigating a pressurization issue on a Delta flight which left 10 passengers requiring medical attention.
It happened after a Delta Air Lines flight made an emergency landing at Salt Lake City International Airport.
This was shortly after it took off from Salt Lake City bound for Portland, Oregon.
Flight 1203, a Boeing 737-900 with 140 passengers on board, suffered a possible ‘pressurization issue’ the FAA said.
The flight landed safely without incident.
An airline spokesperson said emergency personnel met passengers at the arrival gate and said 10 people required medical evaluation or treatment.
Delta hasn’t given any specifics about what treatment was administered.
CNN cited some passengers said they suffered bloody ears and noses.
The airline said it took the plane out of service to inspect it and later fixed the pressurization problem.
“The flight crew followed procedures to return to SLC where our teams on the ground supported our customers with their immediate needs,” Delta said.
