An investigation is ongoing to find the cause of a power outage which disrupted weekend flights at Philadelphia International Airport.
A power failure in Terminal D caused some delays to flights which were moved to different gates.
However, the early morning outage had a relatively minimal impact overall with some flights delayed about two hours.
There were no flight cancelations.
“Due to a power outage in Terminal D, all United, Delta, JetBlue, Air Canada and Alaska Air passengers headed to or from PHL should check with their airline for current flight status. All other terminals at PHL have power,” the airport posted on social media.
It came during a busy period as millions return home after the Thanksgiving holidays.
The airport said flights operated by Delta and United Airlines were most affected.
“People are moving just not at the pace that we would like them to, said Heather Redfern, spokesperson for Philadelphia’s Department of Aviation.
According to FlightAware, there were delays to 147 flights.
