Prestige throws down gauntlet in web war
Prestige Holidays sales manager Colin Sanderson is asking agents to challenge him to match the discounts they find on web sites of rivals.
Agents who successfully convert bookings by this method, called Challenge Colin, will be entered into a prize draw to win a 42-inch plasma TV. The winner will be announced in November.
Sanderson said: “I know that many agents are fed up with losing out when clients choose to book online with the big operators, so I am asking them to give me the chance to match these prices. Holidays will be offered like-for-like except where alternative flights will assist with the costings.”
