The hotel site is set within an 100-year old garden which is currently home to celebrated restaurant, Tsuruya. It was formerly a home for the Japanese imperial family.
Amenities planned include a lobby lounge, fitness centre and spa, as well as several restaurants in addition to Tsuruya.
