Resort group Vinpearl rolls out facial recognition tech
Vinpearl has become the first resort and entertainment group in Vietnam to adopt facial recognition tech for guest services.
The AI-powered technology allows guests to check-in and check-out seamlessly at speed at Vinpearl Nha Trang in Vinpearl Land entertainment areas and restaurants.
The system authenticates customers’ identities without any other verification procedures.
All 43 Vinpearl locations nationwide will adopt the new tech in the future.
It aims to minimise waiting times for procedures and eases the movement between Vinpearl’s internal areas, such as when using exclusive services in restaurants and private games areas.
The facial recognition system works by comparing a digital image or video frame with a gacial image stored in a database to enable real-time verification.
