Ryanair is planning to ditch its ‘garish’ yellow cabin interiors and replace them with something ‘softer’.
According to a report in the Irish Independent, the airline is considering a more golden colour as part of its new gentler image.
Chief executive Michael O’Leary told the newspaper: "Maybe we’ll be softening some of the more garish yellow."
"If we’re going to focus more and more, as we are, on the customer experience, maybe a little less in your face and the use of more subtle colours and better imaging," he said.
He also said bulkheads, which currently have the blue Ryanair logo, might feature something more ‘visually interesting’ like photos of ‘happy, smiley people’ or of destinations.
