SeaDream will kick-start Caribbean cruising with Barbados sailings

Small ship line SeaDream Yacht Club aims to resume Caribbean cruises in November.

Starting 7 November, the 112-passenger SeaDream I will be deployed at Bridgetown, Barbados for round trip sailings to St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and Grenada.

It will offer 22 sailings from Bridgetown.

Guests require proof of a negative Covid test no more than 72 hours before flying into Barbados and will be given a further rapid test before boarding.

Barbados and all countries it calls at are open for American travelers.

A health questionnaire is required and thermal screening will be conducted before departure, as well as daily temperature checks during the voyage.

Emilio Freeman, Vice President of Itineraries and Destinations, said guests who wish to come ashore will be required to join organized shore excursions to designated places.

The ship will embark on a 21-day transatlantic sailing from Oslo to Barbados ahead of the Caribbean launch.

At the moment the wearing of masks is not mandatory but will take into account guest feedback and that may change, said SeaDream EVP Andreas Brynestad.
