Shake up at Royal Caribbean - TravelMole

Shake up at Royal Caribbean

Tuesday, 05 Nov, 2002 0

Cruise giant Royal Caribbean International has promoted its senior vice-president Adam Goldstein to a new position as executive vice-president of brand operations.

Goldstein will be responsible for RCI’s fleet operations, new builds, marketing and sales. He will report to Jack Williams, president and chief operating officer of Royal Caribbean and Celebrity.

The cruise line said the move was designed to align operations more closely with key support functions.

Other management changes include promotions for senior vice president of marine operations Harri Kulovaara and vice president of marketing and sales Dan Hanrahan. Royal Caribbean took a blow recently when the P&O Princess board withdrew it’s recommendation for a merger with it, in favour of Carnival’s bid.
