Shangri-La's latest China hotel opens in Harbin

Shangri-La’s latest hotel in China has opened, marking its second location in the city of Harbin.
The 344-room Songbei Shangri-La is situated on the Songhua River, a short drive from the city’s renowned Ice & Snow World.
The company made its debut in the city back in 1999 with the Shangri-La Hotel, Harbin.
"We are proud to have been part of Harbin’s development as a global destination and to have welcomed travellers for nearly two decades. With a second property, we look forward to unveiling new lifestyle experiences and inviting the community and international visitors to enjoy our blend of tradition and modernity in Harbin," said Songbei Shangri-La, Harbin’s general manager, Tyson Wang.
The hotel features a gym, indoor swimming pool, restaurants a spa, and the Horizon Club Lounge.
Hong Kong based Shangri-La currently operates over 95 hotels in 22 countries.
