Special new rates for group planners, tour operators
Cendant Corporation’s Hotel Group signed an agreement with Group Travel Planet LLC for special online rates for group travel planners and tour operators.
Discounted group inventory will be offered for participating Super 8 Days Inn, Ramada, Travelodge, Howard Johnson, Knights Inn, Wingate Inn and AmeriHost Inn franchised hotels.
The rates are offered through Group Travel Planet’s GroupTravelPlanet.com and CoachQuote.com Web sites.
GroupTravelPlanet.com caters to group travel planners, while CoachQuote.com offers rates to tour operators.
The agreement ensures that retail group rates for Cendant-franchised hotel rooms will be prominently displayed.
Group Travel Planet serves 1,700-plus professional tour operators and over 30,000 group leader members.
Group Travel LLC is an online group travel booking company.
