SpiceJet issued summons over inadequate737 Max pilot training
India’s aviation regulator DGCA has issued a show-cause notice to airline SpiceJet for failing to ensure proper training to 90 pilots on the 737 Max simulator. Earlier this week, the DGCA banned the SpiceJet pilots from operating Boeing 737 Max aircraft.
A show-cause notice was also issued to third-party training organisation CSTPL. Part of the simulator equipment was faulty, the DGCA said. The 90 pilots are required undergo training again.
