It means that more corporate travelers will not get seat assignments when booking travel.
It also presents problems for corporate travel managers that try to keep costs in check, if travelers are using their own, or corporate credit cards for transactions that won’t show up on credit card reconciliation reports provided to corporations by travel agencies.
I don’t think (at least I hope) that we have heard the end of this yet.
