Thomas Cook creates ‘Holiday Resorts’
Thomas Cook has developed a range of hotel-based holidays designed to capture a larger slice of the family package sector.
The Thomas Cook Holiday Resorts appear in a dedicated brochure for next summer highlighting three different ‘lifestyle concepts’.
The 10 SunZone hotels features activities for children such as the operator’s KidsWORLD clubs with Nintendo games, Brazilian football training and stage schools. The hotels also have an adult-only bar and a ‘Departurezone’with showers, fresh towels and storage space of luggage.
All nine ActiveZone properties are on the beach offering sporting activities while the single SuperZone hotel provides activities and facilities for families, singles, groups and couples. All-inclusive prices start at £319 per person based on two sharing.
The hotels feature in Turkey, Majorca, Menorca, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Cyprus, Portugal, Corfu, Crete, Halkidiki, Egypt and Cuba and are due to be expanded for 2008.
